Auto Repair Services in Good Thunder, MN
We handle it all, from routine maintenance to major repairs. All makes and models. Honest work every time.
We Fix It All
Mundt's Auto is a full-service repair shop in Good Thunder, MN. Eric Mundt has been working on cars and trucks for over 20 years, and the shop handles everything from routine oil changes to full engine rebuilds. If your vehicle needs attention, bring it in.
Oil Changes and Lube
Regular oil changes are the simplest thing you can do to protect your engine. We use the right oil for your vehicle and get you in and out without making it complicated.
Brake Repair and Replacement
If your brakes are squealing, grinding, or just do not feel right, bring it in. We inspect the full brake system, including pads, rotors, calipers, and lines, and replace what needs replacing.
Engine Repair and Rebuilds
Engine problems can range from a small fix to a complete rebuild. Eric has handled both. We will diagnose the problem, tell you what it is in plain terms, and give you an honest estimate before any work starts.
Transmission Service
Automatic or manual, we work on transmissions. Whether it is a fluid service, a repair, or something more involved, we will tell you exactly what is going on.
Tires and Wheels
We mount, balance, and rotate tires for cars and trucks of all sizes. Proper tire maintenance keeps your vehicle handling right and extends the life of your tires.
Diagnostics and Check Engine Light
That warning light can mean a lot of different things. We read the codes, track down the real cause, and explain it in plain English, not shop-speak.
Exhaust and Muffler Repair
A loud exhaust or a failed muffler is more than just noise. We inspect the full exhaust system and repair or replace what is needed to get it running quietly and efficiently again.
Suspension and Steering
Rough rides, pulling to one side, or uneven tire wear are all signs your suspension or steering may need attention. We check shocks, struts, tie rods, and the full steering system.
AC and Heating
A Minnesota winter without working heat is not an option. Neither is a sweltering summer in a car with no AC. We diagnose and repair both systems to keep you comfortable year-round.
Electrical Systems
From a dead battery to a wiring issue causing strange problems, we track down electrical faults and fix them. Modern vehicles have complex electrical systems and we have the tools to diagnose them.
Not Sure If We Cover It?
If you do not see your specific repair listed, just call. We handle most types of auto repair, and if it is something outside what we do, we will tell you straight.
